Program Objectives

General Objective

The Research-Oriented Master’s Program in Civil Law and Civil Procedure Law aims to provide learners with advanced expertise in civil law and civil procedure law, together with comprehensive, modern, and in-depth knowledge of theoretical and practical issues in civil and civil procedural legal science. The program develops research capabilities, professional skills, and qualities necessary to perform specialized professional tasks and meet the increasingly demanding requirements of the labor market.

The program also provides a foundation in legal thinking, knowledge, and skills for independent learning and research or further study at higher levels.

Specific Objectives

Knowledge

• Provide foundational knowledge of philosophy and legal research methodology.
• Provide advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of civil law and civil procedure law, including property rights, obligations, intellectual property, marriage and family, inheritance, compensation for damage, evidence and proof in civil proceedings, and the theoretical foundations and legal techniques of private law.
• Develop systematic legal thinking based on a broad and in-depth knowledge base, enabling learners to effectively identify and address legal issues arising in academic research and professional practice.

Skills

• Develop the skills necessary to independently and creatively conduct research into theoretical and practical issues concerning civil law and civil procedure law.
• Develop the ability to effectively apply civil law and civil procedure law to legal issues arising in practice and perform professional tasks at relevant agencies and organizations.
• Develop the skills necessary to participate in the development and improvement of civil and civil procedural legislation.

Autonomy and Responsibility

• Enable graduates to develop into experts in civil law and civil procedure law and undertake professional positions in government agencies, businesses, socio-political organizations, educational institutions, and research institutes.
