The full-time undergraduate programs at VNU University of Law comprise the First and Second Undergraduate Programs. The First Undergraduate Program includes the Law, Honors, Business Law, and International Trade Law programs. The Second Undergraduate Program includes the Law program and Business Law program, also known as the Dual-Degree Program, which allows students to pursue two undergraduate programs concurrently and graduate with two full-time undergraduate degrees.
The full-time undergraduate programs are designed to provide society with high-quality legal professionals who are well equipped to meet the demands of the labor market and contribute to the country’s socio-economic development. The programs provide students with a comprehensive foundation and advanced knowledge in legal studies, encompassing both theoretical and practical aspects; equip students with the professional skills required for their future careers; and foster the qualities and competencies necessary to develop into legal professionals capable of engaging in legal research, law-making, and law enforcement within state agencies, socio-political organizations, international organizations, domestic and international economic organizations, non-governmental and intergovernmental organizations, as well as other organizations whose activities involve legal matters. Graduates may also pursue careers in legal research and education, engage in self-directed learning or further study at higher levels, and accumulate professional experience to advance as experts in the legal field.
Target students: Applicants admitted to the full-time undergraduate program through the national high school graduation examination and other admission methods prescribed by the University.
Programs offered: Law, Honors Law, Business Law, and International Trade Law.
Duration of study: The standard duration of the full-time undergraduate program is eight semesters. The maximum period for completing the program must not exceed twice the standard duration specified in the approved study plan.
Target students: Full-time undergraduate students enrolled at other VNU member institutions who are eligible to register for a second undergraduate program in accordance with VNU’s regulations on undergraduate education.

Duration of study: The maximum period of study for students concurrently pursuing two undergraduate programs is the maximum period prescribed for the first undergraduate program. When undertaking the second program, students may receive recognition for courses completed in the first program where the course content and credit load are equivalent to those of courses in the second program.
The part-time undergraduate program is designed to provide learners with flexible opportunities to acquire in-depth legal knowledge and enhance their professional qualifications. The curriculum is academically rigorous and tailored to the specific characteristics of part-time education, enabling learners to achieve the expected learning outcomes in terms of knowledge, skills, and personal qualities, including professional and soft skills, foreign language proficiency, and digital literacy.
The program provides a strong foundation for learners to excel in their professional work and build successful career paths.
