In a business environment characterized by constant innovation and increasingly fierce competition, the legal function is no longer merely a supporting role. It has become a strategic partner in shaping and supporting key business decisions.
Recognizing students’ growing interest in gaining practical insights into career opportunities, on the morning of December 16, 2025, the Legal Research and Support Center (LERES) organized the seminar “Corporate Legal Affairs and Corporate Legal Practice”, in collaboration with the Youth Union and Student Association of VNU University of Law. The event attracted considerable interest from students thanks to its practical focus and the opportunity to engage directly with legal professionals.
The seminar brought together representatives from VNU University of Law, faculty members, corporate legal experts, and a large number of students from K67, K68, and K69, creating an open and engaging atmosphere.
Throughout the program, students gained first-hand insights into corporate legal work, including how to identify and assess legal risks, negotiate contracts effectively, ensure compliance in the digital age, and respond to emerging data protection requirements. The speakers also shared engaging real-world experiences—from urgent business transactions to unexpected legal situations—giving students a clearer understanding of the dynamic nature of professional corporate legal practice.
Beyond knowledge sharing, the seminar also provided valuable networking opportunities. Many students actively engaged with the speakers to seek career guidance and explore internship opportunities following the event. The enthusiastic participation reflected students’ growing interest in corporate legal practice, an increasingly important field in today’s job market.
