Dr. Nguyễn Thị Phương Châm

Introduction

Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Cham is a lecturer at the Faculty of Private Law, VNU University of Law, specializing in civil law, particularly tort liability, intellectual property, and comparative law. She earned her PhD from Chuo University, Japan, and has taken part in specialized training programs with international organizations including the Japan Patent Office (JPO), USAID, and Indiana University, United States. Proficient in Japanese and English, Dr. Cham has led and taken part in national and international research projects and published in journals and conference proceedings both in Vietnam and abroad. Her current research focuses on emerging legal challenges in the age of artificial intelligence, the conflict between human rights and intellectual property rights, and gender-related legal issues.
