The 2025 “Warm Winter” Volunteer Program has officially come to an end, leaving warm and lasting impressions in Ban May Commune through a series of activities held at Chien Pho Kindergarten, Chien Pho Primary School, and Chien Pho Secondary School. More than simply a journey to deliver gifts during the cold winter days, the program was a gathering of compassionate hearts and a sincere expression of care for teachers and students in disadvantaged mountainous areas, where every gesture of concern carries profound meaning.
With the companionship and joint efforts of partner organizations, benefactors, and volunteers, the program mobilized and delivered a range of practical resources. Five computer sets, with a total value of VND 45,000,000, were presented to Chien Pho Secondary School, contributing to the school’s teaching and learning activities. In addition, 30 gift packages for students of Chien Pho Primary School and Chien Pho Secondary School, together with food and other supplies for the schools, with a total value of VND 40,000,000, brought timely joy, encouragement, and additional motivation to students during a winter marked by material hardship.
Alongside material support, the 2025 “Warm Winter” program placed a strong emphasis on spreading spiritual values and promoting sustainable education. The cultural exchange and student gift-giving event took place in a warm and intimate atmosphere, where distances were bridged through sincere sharing. Educational activities for primary school students under the themes “Welcoming Spring and the Traditional Lunar New Year” and “Love for Our Homeland and Country” contributed to fostering awareness and nurturing appreciation for Vietnamese culture and national traditions. At the same time, the “Zero-Dong Fair,” with the valuable support and contributions of benefactors, was successfully organized, spreading warmth and love through warm clothes given to the students. In addition, an awareness-raising session for secondary school students on the theme “Adolescence and Current Issues – Small Matters, Big Matters” provided practical knowledge and skills, helping students become more confident as they navigate the journey toward adulthood. A special highlight of the program was the “Cultural Space” mural-painting activity at Chien Pho Kindergarten, which contributed to creating a friendly, vibrant, and inspiring learning environment for children every day.
The 2025 “Warm Winter” program has come to an end, but the spirit of sharing and community responsibility that it inspired will continue to be nurtured. The Organizing Committee would like to express its sincere gratitude to all partner organizations, benefactors, local authorities, and volunteers for their trust, support, and wholehearted contributions. Their companionship helped spread “Hong Mai Fragrance – Warmth in the Winter” across the mountainous winter, making Ban May Commune warmer not only through the gifts that were given, but also through human compassion, solidarity, and lasting hope.
