Program Objectives
General Objective
The Application-Oriented Master’s Program in Civil Law and Civil Procedure Law aims to train highly qualified professionals with advanced expertise in the application of civil and civil procedural law. The program provides modern and in-depth legal knowledge, systematic legal thinking, and proficient professional and complementary skills, enabling learners to identify and effectively address complex legal issues arising in professional practice.
Graduates are equipped to pursue professional careers in a wide range of organizations, including central and local government agencies, judicial bodies, law-making institutions, businesses, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and institutions engaged in research and education in civil law and civil procedure law. The program also provides a foundation in legal thinking, knowledge, and skills for independent learning and research or further study at higher levels.
Specific Objectives
Knowledge
- Provide comprehensive, modern, and in-depth knowledge of civil law and civil procedure law, with a particular emphasis on practical knowledge to enable effective application of the law in professional practice.
- Develop systematic legal thinking to effectively identify and address complex practical issues arising in civil law and civil procedure law.
- Develop the ability to analyze, synthesize, compare, and evaluate theoretical knowledge and practical experience, as well as Vietnamese and foreign laws, in order to draw lessons and propose valuable recommendations and solutions for improving legislation and the effectiveness of law enforcement.
