Notice on Organization of the Supplementary Knowledge Course for Candidates Applying to the Master’s Program in Law, 2026

Pursuant to Decision No. 1783/QĐ-ĐHL and Decision No. 1784/QĐ-ĐHL dated 30 November 2023 issued by the Rector of VNU University of Law on the promulgation of master’s training programs, VNU University of Law, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, announces the organization of a supplementary knowledge course for candidates applying to the Master’s program in Law in 2026. Candidates who complete the course will be issued a certificate confirming eligibility to sit the Master’s entrance examination in Law. The certificate is valid for 02 years from the date of issuance to the date of registration for the entrance examination.

I. Candidates required to take the supplementary knowledge course

  1. Applicable to candidates applying to the Master’s program in Law, majoring in:
  • Theory and History of State and Law (research orientation)
  • Constitutional and Administrative Law (research orientation)
  • Civil Law and Civil Procedure (research orientation)
  • Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure (research orientation)
  • Economic Law (research orientation and applied orientation)
  • International Law (research orientation)
  • Theory and History of State and Law (applied orientation)
  • Constitutional and Administrative Law (applied orientation)
  • Civil Law and Civil Procedure (applied orientation)
  • Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure (applied orientation)
  • Economic Law (applied orientation)

II. Credit requirement: 21 credits (6 courses)

Round 1: 01/01/2026 to 20/02/2026
Round 2: 01/05/2026 to 15/06/2026

IV. Application file

  • Application form for the supplementary knowledge course (using the attached template)
  • 01 notarized copy of the bachelor’s degree
  • 01 notarized copy of the bachelor’s transcript

V. Course schedule and location

The class will be organized once at least 10 candidates have registered.

Expected schedule:
Round 1: 25/02/2026 to 05/04/2026
Round 2: 20/06/2026 to 15/08/2026

Location: VNU University of Law, Building E1, 144 Xuan Thuy, Cau Giay, Hanoi

VI. Expected tuition fee: VND 750,000/credit
