VNU University of Law Visits and Congratulates Press Agencies on Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (21 June)
On 19 June 2026, marking the 101st anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (21 June 1925 – 21 June 2026), VNU University of Law visited several press agencies, including Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Vietnam News Agency, to present flowers and extend congratulations.
In the warm, formal atmosphere of this traditional day for Vietnamese journalists, University leaders presented flowers and extended their best wishes to the leadership, reporters, editors, officials and staff of the press agencies. The visit gave the University an opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of press agencies to information and communication work, shaping public opinion, spreading positive values and supporting the country’s development.
Over more than a century of development, Vietnam’s revolutionary press has served as a vanguard force on the ideological and cultural front and an important link between the Party, the State and the people, as well as a trusted forum reflecting social life and supporting reform, development and the protection of the Party’s ideological foundation. Amid digital transformation, international integration and the demand for media innovation, journalists continue to display political steadfastness, social responsibility, professional ethics and creativity in carrying out their work.
For VNU University of Law, close ties with press agencies play a role in spreading legal knowledge, communicating policy, popularizing legal education, and promoting the University’s achievements in training, scientific research, cooperation and community service. The support of press agencies has helped raise the University’s standing, reputation and public profile within the higher education system and in society at large.
